Nike Kobe 8 Mambacurial
Kobe Bryant is a huge soccer fan and even played while growing up in Italy. Nike honors Kobe’s love of both basketball and soccer with the Kobe 8 Mambacurial, which is a basketball shoe inspired by the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX football boot.
The Kobe 8 Mambacurial fuses key design attributes of basketball and soccer shoe uppers and includes a number of details borrowed from the Nike Mercurial Vapor IX. The striking Fireberry colorway is taken straight from the soccer boot and applied to the Nike Engineered Mesh upper of the latest Kobe Bryant signature shoe. Oversized white “NIKE” script appears on the medial side of each shoe, and an electric-lime Swoosh shifts from the side to just over the toe. “Mambacurial” is notated on the backside of the tongue, and the upper rests atop a grass graphic and translucent green rubber outsole.
The shoe is now available at select retailers and nike.com internationally; in North America, the shoe will be available June 7.

How Much Would It Cost to Build the Starship Enterprise?
Ever wondered how much it would cost to build the iconic Starship Enterprise from Star Trek? The people over at Gizmodo have come up with a realistic spending budget on what it would take to build this revolutionary symbol of the franchise. Gizmodo chose to use materials that are as realistic as possible with the technology of today as opposed to what we could have in the future.
The grand total was a whopping $478,947,711,160 USD, which takes a huge chomp out of the 2013 US Defense expenditure budget with 12.59 percent.

McNairy takes over the designing process as you can tell by the military pieces which also has Pharrell’s love of camo in the line as well. Next to their collaborative Billionaire Boys Club Bee Line collection, this collection will make a nice complimentary piece.

DeLorean iPhone 5 Case
Les Forges MDK presents their cell phone case for the iPhone 5 which draws inspiration from the legendary DeLorean. This design concept pays homage to the DeLorean DMC-12 which is known for being Marty McFly’s time machine in the Back to the Future films, and even features the vehicle’s logo over a texture resembling the DMC-12′s grill. Only a design concept at the moment so no word on if you can buy this just yet, but we would if we could.

A First Look at The Hundreds Summer 2013 Collection

The 40th Anniversary 2014 Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S
Porsche has just unveiled new versions of their 911 Turbo and 911 Turbo S to celebrate the 40th anniversary of one of their most iconic models. Specs include new all-wheel-drive systems, active rear axle steering, adaptive aerodynamics and full-LED headlights.
The 3.8L six-cylinder bi-turbo engine produces up to 520 horsepower in the Turbo and 560 horsepower in the S model. Drivers will be getting from 0-60 in a cool 2.9 seconds when behind the wheel of the Turbo S, while the regular model gets to the same speed in 3.2 seconds when equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus.
The price will be $148,300 for the Turbo and $181,100 for the Turbo S.

Supreme Sues Married To The Mob Over “Supreme Bitch” T-Shirt
In an industry where it’s hard to tell where what style or design came from where first, it seems as though clothing giant Supreme wants to stake it’s claim on what they see as theirs. Supreme plans to sue Leah McSweeney’s Married To The Mob for $10 million dollars over the brand’s “Supreme Bitch” design. The design was first seen in the MTTM 2004 collection which led to Supreme’s James Jebbia to seek damages as the design “infringes his trademark rights.”
McSweeney states:
As some of you may have heard, Supreme is suing me for $10 million over my “Supreme Bitch” design. I’ve been using this design since the first MOB collection in summer 2004. I even sold it as a tee at Union, a store owned and managed by Supreme’s founder James Jebbia, who gave the design his blessing. Now, he’s claiming that the design infringes his trademark rights.
Unlike some companies that blatantly rip-off other brand logos, Married To The Mob has always had its own identity and aesthetic by being an extension of my life experiences. I started this company when I was 22 and have come a long way without a piggyback ride from anyone.
Supreme Bitch is one design of many; one slogan of many. And the use of the design has always been to make fun of the misogynistic vibe of Supreme and the boys who wear it.
Bottom line is this: I don’t think Supreme should be able to squash free speech or my right to utilize parody in my design aesthetic. It’s one of the most powerful ways for me to comment on the boy’s club mentality that’s pervasive in the streetwear/skater world. The fact that Supreme is coming after MOB and me personally is just another example of the hostility that MOB — the first women’s street wear brand — has faced from Day 1. And it’s why the Supreme Bitch message is so important.
Civil liberties attorney Norman Siegel agreed to take my case and act as co-counsel along with Edward Rosenthal of Frankfurt Kurnit Klein & Selz PC, a law firm that specializes in trademark issues. This isn’t a fight I went out looking for, but I have no choice other than to fight back. Because right now, it’s about more than just a t-shirt
