G-Shock’s First Retail Store in the USA
G-Shock opens its first ever flagship store in the United States located within New York City’s prime shopping district of SOHO, on West Broadway. “The G-Shock store pays tribute to its innovative design and reputable heritage by displaying a timeline of the timepieces released over the brand’s 30-year history, offering limited edition collaborative product available only at the shop as well as current inline models.”
The first floor is devoted to the retail space, featuring industrial design elements such as reclaimed barn wood floors, and other industrial–grade materials to act as one of-a-kind shop fixtures. The second floor is used to showcase the current collaborations, all while being utilized as a rotating gallery and event space. Throughout, walls are adorned with art by world-renowned graphic artist and G-Shock Brand Ambassador, Eric Haze.

Ferrari X Movado – Watch Line
Ferrari has just confirmed a partnership with Swiss luxury watchmaker Movado. The deal is for multiple years, which involves worldwide licensing in which Movado will design, create and market a collection of timepieces under the Ferrari name. Pricing will range up to approximately $2,000.

Hublot x Ferrari Big Bang Magic Gold & Big Bang Titan
Here’s a first look at a couple of watches courtesy of the Hublot and Ferrari partnership. Hublot is presenting the Ferrari Big Bang Magic Gold and the Ferrari Big Bang Titan at Baselworld 2012 this week.
The well-known Big Bang watch comes in the newly developed Magic Gold which is scratch-proof by Hublot, as well as a Titan version. The watches feature premium crocodile leather straps and the Ferrari branding on the dial and chrono triggers. These timepieces scream sophistication and luxury, unfortunately for watch enthusiasts, there will only be 1000 pieces made.

G-Shock Solar Military Green Capsule Collection
G-Shock is gearing up to release their Solar Military Green Watch Collection. This capsule collection is comprised of three of their most popular signature styles in a matte olive green colorway. This new ‘flat’ color, in the form of theGR7900KG-3, G5600KG-3 and G6900KG-3 timepieces, really gives off that tough and rugged style which is different than the shiny colorways of the past.
The G-Shock Solar Military series features shock resistance, 200M water resistance, full auto EL backlight, world time (48 cities + UTC), 4 daily alarms and 1 snooze, 1/100th second stopwatch, countdown timer, 12/24 Hr formats and mute function. Encapsulated in a resin case with a four point bezel protection design with exposed metal screws; the GR7900KG has all of the above features in addition to tide/moon graph and data. Each watch in the series has a unique case shape making them similar but different.
These Solar Military Green watches will be available in April 2012 for $120 at select retailers.

Hublot presents Magic Gold – Scratch Resistant Gold
The EPFL (Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Lausanne) and Swiss watch maker Hublot have been in the lab over the last three years developing some high tech materials for their watches. The first development comes by fusing 24 karat gold with new high tech materials which results in a new type of 18 karat gold that is completely scratch resistant, creating a new type of noble gold. Hublot F1 King Power Abu Dhabi
Hublot unleashes the new F1 King Power Abu Dhabi to the public. As you know, Hublot is the Official Watchmaker of Formula 1 and at the occasion of the penultimate Grand Prix of the 2011 FIA Formula One World Championship. This release will be a limited edition and only 250 pieces will be designed. The overall black silhouette with the aqua accents really work well with the design, but then again, what else would you expect from Hublot?

Project X Designs Stealth MK I Rolex Submariner
Releasing November 2011 is the Stealth MK I Rolex Submariner which is inspired by historic models of the past and the legendary british SBS.
The watch comes with a matt finish case and bracelet, crown guard removal evoking the Bond Subs of the 1950s, military bars, STEALTH dial text in red, black dial lume, black bezel dot, skeletal hands and the edition number engraved on the back of the case. Unfortunately, these will be limited to only 24 watches when they release later this month.

G-Shock Japan ‘Army Green’ Pack
G-Shock Japan presents the Army Green Pack to be released for the month of November 2011. The watches will have a dark green body with the display showing bits of beige and orange and the screen lights up inverted in black. A subtle change from what you’re used to seeing from G-Shock and a great addition to any collection you may have. Three watches come as part of the pack – GW-M5610, GW-7900 and the GW-6900. Look out for a release in a few weeks.

Bamford Watch Department Rolex Explorer 2
London-based Bamford Watch Department specializes in designing luxury watches such as Rolex and Tag Heuer. The Rolex Explorer 2 is the latest project to get the custom black military-grade PVD finish, in which the customer can also choose different colors for details like the dial, luminescent indices and second hand. G-Shock GB-6900 Bluetooth Watch Release
This December, Casio plans to releases the G-Shock GB-6900 smartphone compatible watches. The GB- 6900 will come equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 and come in black, red, and white color ways.
Features include automatic location based time adjustment and notification of incoming calls and emails on your phone by way or an alarm or vibration that can be deactivated simply by tapping the timepiece.

The watches will coincide with the release of Richardson’s book ‘Mom & Dad’ as well his exhibition hosted by Parisian store colette. Hublot Chukker Bang
Drawing inspiration from the world of polo and in conjunction with polo player Facundo Pieres, Hublot will be revealing their new Chukker Bang watch at the Polo Gold Cup in Gstaad. The Chukker Bang is a 44mm Big Bang watch, equipped with a titanium grill, affixed to its bezel, in order to further protect the sapphire crystal. The grill can also be removed and put back on when needed. Only 500 numbered pieces of the watch will be produced and it also comes in a version with a diamond encrusted grill.

Bless Watch Belt
German brand Bless has definitely figured out a way to turn heads with one of their accessories. They have just released the ‘watch belt’, which is a leather belt featuring a classic Casio digital watch. It comes in both natural and black colorways and is now available from Project No. 8. It’s a pretty innovative idea, but i’m sure you’ll get some interesting looks if you have to look at your crotch everytime you wanna know the time.
