Those who are well-versed in Air Jordan history will know that Michael Jordan was fined a sum of money for every game he wore the Air Jordan 1. Back then the NBA wanted players to wear predominantly white shoes and the Air Jordan 1 had multiple colors. Nike, however, paid every fine MJ got in exchange for the publicity. The rest, of course, is history; the Air Jordan shoe is the signature shoe of signature shoes, and 25 years later, the Jordan legacy is still going strong.

Rihanna split with manager Marc Jordan and joined Jay- Z’s Roc Nation. Plans are underway to launch a new company called Rihanna Entertainment that will “merge all of her businesses, including music, film, fragrance, fashion, and book ventures.”
An important note to remember is that Jay- Z was the one that initially signed Rihanna to Def Jam in 2005.

Commissioned by Living Architecture, a group founded on the desire for people to experience the best in contemporary architecture, the “Balancing Barn” was recently completed and is set to open doors as a rental holiday home. The barn is located in Suffolk, the building was handled by Mole Architects with interior by Studio Makknik Bey. Conceptualized by MVRDV, the cantilevered building is designed to celebrate the local landscape.
