Eames Molded Wood Chair by Herman Miller

The Shell Chair originally hit the market in 1948 by Herman Miller. The chair featured a molded fiberglass shell, which was later, however, replaced by “more eco-friendly yet less classy looking plastic.” Now, after 65 years, the Shell Chair has made a come back made out of refined wooden veneers with your choice of three classic bases: wire (“Eiffel Tower”) in chrome or black, 4-leg in chrome or black, or wood dowel in one of three finishes.
