Rolls-Royce – Ghost Series II

With the 2014 Geneva Auto Show now in full effect (March 6-16), Rolls-Royce gives us the official unveiling of its newest model – the Ghost Series II, the successor of the iconic Phantom. Although bearing a similar resemblance, this newest edition is more refined with very light resculpting throughout.

In terms of technology, the new Ghost’s interior includes a 10.25-inch high-definition screen and a Spirit of Ecstacy Rotary Controller so as not to “leave unsightly fingerprints at driver and passenger eye level.” Additionally, Satellite Aided Transmission is now a standard equipment for the first time. This technology uses GPS data to anticipate the driver’s demands, choosing the proper gear for the road ahead and the speed at which the car is being driven. Boasting a 6.6-liter twin-turbocharged V12 engine, with 563 horsepower and 575 pound-feet of torque, the vehicle solidifies its luxury and performance effortlessly.

Expect the Ghost Series II to release at Rolls-Royce dealers worldwide, sometime later this Fall.

Be on the lookout for the car as it makes it’s debut at the Frankfurt Auto Show in September and comes with a 395 hp engine.
