The GALAXY Gear, which comes courtesy of Samsung, is a smartwatch that takes your Samsung Galaxy smartphone to the next level. Some cool features of the Galaxy Gear is the fact that it notifies users of incoming messages, calls, texts, emails and other alerts which in turn, flashes a preview of those messages and lets you decide on whether to respond to them or not. Conduct hands-free calls with ease thanks to the built in speaker. The Galaxy Gear also comes with S Voice which allows users to draft messages, create new calendar entries, set alarms, and check the weather. Another exciting feature is that you can take pictures and record video with a 1.9 Megapixel camera and record voice memos and save them on you Galaxy phone.
Of course, the GALAXY Gear serves as a regular watch that is fully customized to the users specification. Preloaded with 10 different clock options and more choices will be downloadable via Samsung Apps, The Galaxy Gear will be available on September 25th.
