Official Images Of The Grateful Dead Bears x Nike SB Dunk Low “Green” | Release Date

**UPDATE 07/14/20**

The Grateful Dead Bears x Nike SB Dunk Low now has a release date of July 24.

The Grateful Dead Bears x Nike SB Dunk Low is the result of a collaborative effort from Nike and it’s homage to Grateful Dead’s 1973 album, History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice). The album was illustrated by Bob Thomas in which he debuted teddy bear characters with color schemes similar to the SB silhouette.

Features of this sneaker include a suede upper with faux fur displayed on the side panels, collar and toe box. Much different from previous Nike SB models is this silhouette has a Swoosh that’s made in a zigzag pattern that’s just like the bear character’s collar. Rounding out the design is a unique stash pocket embedded in the tongue.

No release date is set in stone but check out the pics above in the mean time.

The Off-White x Air Jordan 4 WMNS “Sail” Gets A Release Date

One of this year’s most sought after releases is Virgil Abloh’s Off-White Jordan 4 “Sail.” This soon-to-be instant classic holds all the characteristics of a Virgil Abloh sneaker, featuring Helvetica text for the “AIR” lettering, labeled “SHOELACES” and zip-ties made famous on Abloh’s “The Ten” series for Nike. This silhouette is dipped in an overall cream colorway with translucent lace eyelets, tongue, upper netting and heel-tab.

To support the Black Lives Matter movement, Virgil donated an autographed pair to be auctioned off for charity. In doing so, the pair fetched over $100,000 towards key organizations supporting the cause.

Kobe Bryant’s Nike Mamba Fury Gets A Lakers Colorway

Getting your hands on any footwear and apparel that pertains to Kobe Bryant seems to be only a pipe dream. With the tragic loss of the Lakers legend only a few months ago, it would seem that Nike is putting a halt on all Bryant merchandise. Even with all the delays of Kobe Bryant signature silhouettes, we do have some good news in the form of the Nike ‘Mamba Fury.’

The Nike ‘Mamba Fury’ makes its way in the form of a Lakers colorway, featuring purple on the heel and midsole as well as hits of yellow on the eyelets. The “Zoom Air” is also infused into the forefoot with an overall white upper rounding out the details.

The Nike ‘Mamba Fury’ in the Lakers colorway retails for $100 USD at select Nike retailers.

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 | Official Netflix Trailer

Netflix has just released the first trailer for The Umbrella Academy season 2 and the action and shocking moments seem to have gone up a notch from season 1. In this new season the Hargreeves siblings are stuck in the 60’s while at the same time, trying to stop the end of the world yet again.

Synopsis:

Five warned his family (so, so many times) that using his powers to escape from Vanya’s 2019 apocalypse was risky. Well, he was right – the time jump scatters the siblings in time in and around Dallas, Texas. Over a three year period. Starting in 1960. Some, having been stuck in the past for years, have built lives and moved on, certain they’re the only ones who survived. Five is the last to land, smack dab in the middle of a nuclear doomsday, which – spoiler alert! – turns out is a result of the group’s disruption of the timeline (déjà vu, anyone?).

Now the Umbrella Academy must find a way to reunite, figure out what caused doomsday, put a stop to it, and return to the present timeline to stop that other apocalypse. All while being hunted by a trio of ruthless Swedish assassins. But seriously, no pressure or anything.

The Umbrella Academy Season 2 will make its debut on Friday, July 31st on Netflix.
