New Song From NICKI MINAJ ‘Yikes’

It seems as though retirement may be an after-thought now that Nicki Minaj has released “Yikes,” which reminds us that she’s still at the top of her game. Minaj also confirmed that “Yikes” isn’t the official single for her upcoming fifth studio album as she told a crowd of her fans:

“it’s not my single, because my single will be launched with a visual. This is a set-up song with no video. Please don’t kill me ya’ll, you asked me to put it out, don’t forget.”

Nike SB GTS ‘SAFARI’ Colorway

Just like the Jordan 3 ‘elephant print,’ the ‘safari print’ is just as recognizable. The Air Safari‘s eye-catching pockmarked print was inspired by high-end couches and has been used on sneakers like the Air Max 1, Presto and Foamposite One.

The Nike SB GTS Return Premium “Safari” is available now via atmos, and is priced at ¥9,000 JPY (approximately $82).

New Images of the Nike AIR FEAR OF GOD 1 ‘STRING’ Revealed

UPDATE: We recently released early images of Nike’s new Air Fear of God 1 “String” colorway with the release date of February 10. It seems as though they will be getting pushed back to a later date unfortunately. Breaking from the single-color style offered by most of Lorenzo’s past Nike releases, the “String” combines a black ballistic mesh collar and midfoot with a supple sandy suede toebox and a jagged plastic support cage. More tan tones are present on the midsole, and double-stacked icy blue Zoom Air units in the heel provide basketball-inspired cushioning.

Check back for more info on the new release date.

ORIGINAL STORY: It seems like the partnership between Nike and Jerry Lorenzo’s Fear of God brand is still going strong as new photos of the Air Fear of God 1 ‘String’ have just surfaced. The pics come courtesy of the Instagram account of @upcycle.sneaks and we can now see the details up close.

These “cream toes,” as Jerry calls them, are constructed of a breathable mesh upper in black, surrounded by a cream colored TPU cage and cream toe box. Branding is shared by the two companies as we see A black mini Swoosh on the cage, embossed Fear of God print on the midsole and the Nike logo on the heel. The icy blue air unit comes equipped inside the raised Zoom Air sole unit with tonal black laces rounding out the pair.

Release date: February 10

Estimated price: $350

Is A New NIKE x OFF-WHITE Collab In The Works?

It seems Virgil Abloh‘s Off-White™ brand and Nike look to keep their partnership alive, if we analyze the recent pic posted on Abloh’s Instagram account.

Abloh teased a pic of what seems to be one the first items from an upcoming collection, a navy hoodie. This hoodie is marked with both Nike‘s Swoosh insignia and Off-White™’s new logo. The new Off-White logo features the graphics of a face in the middle and two hands on the sides with one under the word “Off” and the other under the word “White” in contrasting white.

No other details are revealed at this time, check back for more info.

Here’s A New Look For TEAM USA For The 2020 Tokyo Olympics

As part of Team USA‘s 2020 “Medal Stand” collection, all the respective athletes that win a medal at the upcoming games will be wearing an outfit made from sustainable materials. This collection draws inspiration from the recycled matetials that make up the Tokyo medals. With that being said, the Nike Windrunner jacket will be crafted from 100% recycled polyester.

We shared Nike’s ‘Space Hippie’ collection yesterday in which the materials came from scraps off the factory floor, plastic bottles and other used materials. Nike is really focused on lowering their carbon footprint and they are leading the charge in sustainable production.
