Porsche Design Creates A Wireless Speaker Made From A Single Block of Aluminum

Porsche Design has created an aesthetically pleasing wireless speaker that is made of aluminum. The PDS50 wireless speaker even keeps a charge for up to 20 hours.

Composed of a solid block of aluminum, this wireless speaker keeps the minimal feel in tow but still adds a bit of high-end luxury to any setting. An LED strip compliments the subtle high-gloss detailing, accompanied by an all matte finish on the overall body.

The Porsche Design Wireless Speaker PDS50 retails for €399 EUR or $474 USD and can be purchased on Porsche Design’s website.

The Air Jordan 11 Adapt Celebrates The 25th Anniversary Of The XI And Its Self-Lacing

Continuing its 25th Anniversary celebration of the Air Jordan 11, Jordan Brand has created a first for the silhouette, infusing it with Nike Adapt self-lacing tech. Just like it’s predecessors in the Adapt family such as the Adapt BB 2.0 and Adapt Auto Max, the Air Jordan 11 “Adapt” uses an App to tighten and loosen the laces or through the use of buttons at the mid foot.

For the most part, the overall silhouette stays true to the 11’s aesthetic with a few minor adjustments. A translucent layer covers the upper portion of the sneaker including the lace eyelet area as well as the Jumpman logo at the heel. Instead of regular laces, thin cords have been equipped as part of Adapt technology’s lock-down device. Tinker Hatfield’s sketches remain true in terms of the colorway he originally used as well as an icy sole that rounds out the look.

Be on the look out for the Air Jordan 11 “Adapt” to drop on December 30.

The Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT Gets The “Sail” Treatment

The Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT gets revamped in a clean “Sail” colorway that makes the pair complimentary with any wardrobe you put together.

Features of the Air Jordan 1 Zoom CMFT include an indented Swoosh with black accents on the laces, collar, and tongue. Elsewhere, buttery leather covers each panel of the upper, dipped in the Sail colorway. Rounding out the details is the Wings insignia in a white tone along with Zoom Air tech and sockliner graphics.

Take a look at the gallery above and check out Nike.com on December 1 for $140 USD.

Jordan Brand Celebrates 25 Years Of The Air Jordan 11 With The “Jubilee” Colorway

The Air Jordan 11 is celebrating its 25 years and Jordan Brand will deliver two specially designed silhouettes for the occasion. The focus for the first silhouette will be on the “Jubilee” colorway which draws inspiration from original sketches.

This 25th Anniversary model adds a familiar aspect that was very important to the aesthetic of the Jordan 11, black patent leather. This iconic Jordan 11 material drapes around the lower half of the upper, while mesh rests above. “JORDAN” letters can be seen displayed along the sides of the eyelets in Metallic Silver while a “25” can be found along the insole.

Nike just did a shock drop on these today but there will be a second chance to cop these once again on December 12th on Nike SNKRS for $220.

Air Jordan 1 Hi ’85 “Neutral Grey” Releases in 2021

As the old saying goes, there’s a first time for everything, and that saying rings true for the OG Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 “Neutral Grey” colorway as it will be available for the first time in 2021. The Air Jordan 1 Hi ‘85 silhouette comes with a higher collar than the Air Jordan 1 Retro we’ve been accustomed to as of late and the now popular “Neutral Grey” tone will only add more hype to the sneaker as it is known for gracing the Air Jordan 1 “Dior” model.

Buttery white leathers make up the uppers while grey suede adorns the Swooshes and collars. Grey is also present on the collar flap’s ball-and-wings insignia. Rounding out the details on this subtle silhouette are white mid soles accompanied by grey outsoles.

This sneaker is slated for a first quarter release in 2021 with a price tag of $200 USD.

VF Corporation Buys Supreme

Apparel and footwear giant, VF Corporation, is all set to acquire legendary and iconic streetwear/skate brand Supreme for a reported $2.1 billion. Vf Corporation already houses popular brands such as Dickies, The North Face, Vans, and Timberland.

As reported by Business of Fashion, this monumental deal is expected to close before the end of VF Corp’s fiscal year. Supreme’s current investors, The Carlyle Group and Goode Partners, will sell their stakes in the brand.

Supreme’s popularity rose even higher once The Carlyle Group jumped on board in 2017. Supreme founder James Jebbia stated that the investment would provide the “operational expertise needed to keep us on the steady path we’ve been on since 1994.” The Carlyle Group’s involvement was a first in terms of a private equity firm investing in a streetwear brand.
