Buddy and Kent Jamz follow up their Janktape Vol. 1 release with an official music video for the track “Bad Boys.” The video is very eclectic, featuring the rappers playing a number of iconic roles from film and tv shows.

Directed by Edgar Esteves, Buddy and Kent reference several popular duos such as an animated Beavis and Butt-Head, comedians Cheech & Chong, characters from Don’t Be A Menace To South Central While Sippin’ Your Juice In The Hood, Step Brothers, Friday, characters from Pulp Fiction and Bad Boys.

Lil Durk gives us a visual for “3 Headed Goat” featuring Lil Baby and Polo G. The Chicago MC just released the deluxe version of his album Just Cause Y’all Waited 2 which features an additional seven tracks. The video was also directed and edited by Cole Bennett (Lyrical Lemonade).

The official visualizer features each artist rapping with select words from their rhymes appearing around them in a creative animated presentation which was created by Francis Thomasovich.

Teyana Taylor Drops Third LP ‘The Album”

Teyana Taylor has just released her third studio LP, The Album. This project features an all-star list of guest appearances by Kehlani, Erykah Badu, Lauryn Hill, Missy Elliott, Future and Rick Ross.

Taylor recently wrote on Billboard, stating why she chose Juneteenth for the release date:

With releasing the album on Juneteenth, it’s important because if you noticed the lead singles that I led with were “Made It” and “We Got Love.” So I’ve always been here. I’ve always been about us being celebrated and celebrating my culture and my people. For everything to happen, from my album getting delayed and it falls perfectly on Juneteenth, yes, it’s a celebration.

Lil Baby spreads a powerful message in his new visual for “The Bigger Picture.” The essence of equality and fighting for what you believe in is delivered flawlessly in each bar that the Atlanta rapper spits.

The video is directed by Keemotion Films, showing Lil Baby out in the field with the rest of the peaceful protesters in Atlanta. The visual shows people in real-time, demanding justice for George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless others who have died at the hands of police brutality and injustice. Lil Baby states via his Instagram account that proceeds will be spread between different organizations fighting for the cause.

Lil Wayne releases the official video for his single “I Don’t Sleep.” The video is done in an animation style, most likely due to COVID-19, but overall makes for a creative choice.

The New Orleans rapper enlisted Migos’ Takeoff as well which shows Weezy skating through different situations as he boasts about blowing a million dollars in a week. Check it out above.
