There Are 403 Bob Ross’ ‘The Joy Of Painting’ Episodes That You Can Watch For Free

The estate of Bob Ross has just brought back all 403 episodes of his majestic painting and even categorizes them. To top of all the nostalgic feels, viewers will be able to watch full seasons for free.

Bob Ross’ The Joy Of Painting first aired on PBS in 1983 and ended in 1994. Bob Ross taught step by step the process he goes through when painting. The soft-spoken artist displayed a calm demeanor and encouraged novices and professionals alike to paint in a positive way. Ross would eventually pass due to lymphoma in 1995, but Bob Ross Inc. continues to push the legendary artist’s legacy forward.

Hulu Cancels CASTLE ROCK After Two Seasons

It seems as though Hulu fan-favorite show Castle Rock has been canceled after two seasons.

Castle Rock is an anthology series focused on the fictional town in Maine of the same name. This series drew a lot of inspiration from Stephen King stories like Misery and Shawshank Redemption.

In April of this year, Castle Rock producer J.J. Abrams and HBO Max joined forces to develop a new project called Overlook. There is speculation that it would be similar to the Castle Rock aesthetic and The Shining universe will be the inspiration, centering around the Overlook Hotel. Looks like fans will have to jump to HBO Max to get their Stephen King horror fix for now.

Nike Keeps the Pressure on Warren Lotas with Additional Complaints Over the Dunk & Reaper Shoes

Warren Lotas can’t seem to catch a break with his Dunk inspired sneakers as Nike has filed a continuation in its lawsuit against the designer. Last week Lotas offered to give consumers replacements due to a document submitted on November 2nd stating Nike’s displeasure with his “Reaper” silhouette. Now, Nike is continuing to put pressure on Lotas’ sneakers with the focus being the revamped “Reaper” in which the Swoosh brand sees more issues.

Nike’s current accusation shows that there is a striking similarity between the Lotas’ Reaper soles compared to the Nike Dunk’s soles. Seems as though Lotas changed up a few aspects of his silhouette but couldn’t get away from the soles of the sneaker which is basically identical to Nike’s model.

Other similarities include the heel branding, toe box area, tongue and lacing. In changing of certain aspects of his shoe, Lotas switched the Jason mask Swoosh for a more prominent Reaper logo as well as altering the heel.

November 9th is the deadline for Warren Lotas to formally respond to the latest claim from Nike.

NASA Discovers Water On The Sunlit Surface Of The Moon

A huge achievement has been made as NASA has discovered water on the sunlit surface of the Moon. Making the observation from the Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA), the groundbreaking discovery has confirmed what the agency has always suspected.

The Clavius Crater, which is one of the largest observable craters on the Moon’s surface, was where the water was discovered. About 12-ounces of water was trapped inside a cubic meter of soil. Per NASA, the Sahara desert has 100 times more water than what SOFIA found.

We had indications that H2O – the familiar water we know – might be present on the sunlit side of the Moon. Now we know it is there. This discovery challenges our understanding of the lunar surface and raises intriguing questions about resources relevant for deep space exploration.

Paul Hertz, NASA director of the Astrophysics Division in the Science Mission Directorate in Washington

Water is a valuable resource, for both scientific purposes and for use by our explorers. If we can use the resources at the Moon, then we can carry less water and more equipment to help enable new scientific discoveries.

Jacob Bleacher, chief exploration scientist for NASA’s Human Exploration and Operations Mission Directorate

Quibi Is Shutting Down After Six Months

After six months of operation, popular streaming service Quibi Holdings LLC is apparently shutting down according to those in the know.

Initially, Quibi had hopes of setting itself up as the new up and coming streaming service, rivaling competitors like Hulu, Netflix and others. Things seem different now as expectations didn’t match up with the outcome as far as subscriber count. By this point, the company was expected to have millions of subscribers but have only amassed a few hundred thousand so far.

Many factors could’ve contributed to Quibi’s abysmal outcome. The current pandemic seems to be the main culprit of any business shutting down or perhaps the streaming service’s unique viewing experience could have played a part as well as it delivered shows in 5- to 10-minute “chapters” formatted to fit a smartphone screen.

On Wednesday, Quibi investors were called by founder Jeffrey Katzenberg, telling them he is shutting the service down. In shutting down the service, Katzenberg plans to return as much capital as possible to investors while employees will be laid off and paid a severance.

Coca-Cola Plans To Retire Weaker Selling Drinks To Revamp Portfolio

Coca-Cola Company will be making adjustments to its portfolio by removing some of the weaker performing beverages.

Per the beverage company, the realignment will stop manufacturing Coca-Cola Life, Diet Coke Feisty Cherry, the TaB diet sodas and ZICO coconut water. In terms of regional market drinks, Northern Neck Ginger Ale, Delaware Punch, Japan’s Vegibeta, and Brazil’s Kuat will also be put to rest.

We’re challenging ourselves to think differently about our brands to accelerate our transformation to a total beverage company. This isn’t about paring down to a specific number of product offerings under our brands. The objective is to drive impact and growth. It’s about continuing to follow the consumer and being very intentional in deciding which of our brands are most deserving of our investments and resources, and also taking the tough but important steps to identify those products that are losing relevance and therefore should exit the portfolio.

Catch Coetzer, Head of Innovation and Marketing Operations

In addition to making portfolio changes, Coca-Cola is looking into its bottling and packaging in order to further enhance business efficiency. “We’re prioritizing bets that have scale potential across beverage categories, consumer need states and drinking occasions,” Coetzer added. “Because scale is the algorithm that truly drives growth.”
