Official Look At The Nike Kobe 5 Protro “LAKERS”

Kobe Bryant’s impact reached more than just basketball, in fact, his impact far exceeded sports in general. With resellers clambering to buy every piece of Kobe merchandise especially sneakers, one has to wonder if Nike will ever release another Kobe Bryant silhouette.

With that being said, many have wondered if the Kobe 5 Protro ‘Lakers’ colorway would see the light of day. Nike postponed the championship-inspired colorway originally and we’ve heard no follow up as to when or if they would release them, that is until now. It seems certain retailers have been listing March as a release date with some shops overseas already having them.

We now have official images which could only mean the Black Mamba’s signature shoe in the iconic Lakers Purple/Gold colors could be upon us. The release is rumored to hit on March 26th so hopefully we get a chance to see them at select stores and Nike SNKRS.

Travis Scott & OG Chase B Open Space Village Shop In Houston

Travis Scott has officially opened his Space Village store in Houston with longtime friend and DJ OG Chase B.

This idea originally served as an ASTROWORLD pop-up location but the two have now made the experience a permanent fixture in H-Town. The new store is located in the Rice Village district and will definitely ring in a new shopping experience in terms of fashion for Houston.

Space Village will carry it’s own line of merch featuring it’s atom logo, however, the brand will carry other pieces from companies like READYMADE, Infinite Archives, Supreme and Online Ceramics.

Check out the location if you’re ever in the area.

The sneakers do not appear available yet to actually purchase (at the time of this post)and the price isn’t shown but Travis has indicated on his Instagram account that it will be releasing today.

There will also be a collection of skating apparel and accessories to go along with the sneakers which are already available for purchase. Skate decks are also included that will feature the same paisley and plaid print as seen on the SB’s, while Hoodies and tees include the slogan “Skateboarding is Not a Crime.” Rounding out the list will be accessories like skate trucks and wheels available to purchase, with price point ranging from $8 to $65 USD.

Checkout the teaser video above of the kicks in action.

Head to Travis Scott’s online store to be the first to shop the Travis Scott x Nike SB Dunk Low “Cactus Jack.”

Air Jordan 3 ‘UNC’

Check out a first look at the upcoming Air Jordan 3 UNC, which ironically, doesn’t feature any UNC tongue branding.

The staple and stand out of the AJ3 is the “elephant print” on the toe and heal area. As previously mentioned, this pair will not have UNC Tarheels branding but instead come with the Jumpman logo on the tongue. All Jordans lately have come with a different shoe box to match the color scheme of the shoe and this particular silhouette is no different as it seems the box will have a ‘UNC Blue’ lid with elephant print bottom half.

Release Date: March 7th, 2020
Price: $190
