The First Trailer For GODZILLA VS KONG Does Not Disappoint

Legendary Pictures has just dropped the action-packed first trailer for Godzilla Vs Kong.

The trailer shows the iconic meeting between the two Titans as they prepare to fight where one will stand. We’ve seen Godzilla and King Kong fight each other over the years in various films and its only right that we see these two go at it in this new age of updated technology and CGI which can only do this battle justice.

In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.

Godzilla Vs Kong hits theaters and HBO Max on March 26, 2021 and stars Millie Bobby Brown, Brian Tyree Henry, Rebecca Hall, Julian Dennison, Danai Gurira, Jessica Henwick, Alexander Skarsgard, Shun Oguri, Eiza Gonzalez, Kyle Chandler, Demian Bichir, Van Marten, and Zhang Ziyi.

The full HBO Max 2021 movie range will include blockbusters like The Little Things, Judas and the Black Messiah, Tom & Jerry, Godzilla vs. Kong, Mortal Kombat, Those Who Wish Me Dead, The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It, In The Heights, Space Jam: A New Legacy, The Suicide Squad, Reminiscence, Malignant, Dune, The Many Saints of Newark, King Richard, Cry Macho and Matrix 4.

We’re living in unprecedented times which call for creative solutions. We know new content is the lifeblood of theatrical exhibition, but we have to balance this with the reality that most theaters in the U.S. will likely operate at reduced capacity throughout 2021.

Ann Sarnoff, chair and CEO of WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Group

This move from the film giant could change the landscape of the way movies are viewed drastically. AMC theaters have already expressed dissatisfaction of the decision, stating that even though rules were changed for “Wonder Woman 1984” with the ongoing pandemic still going on, they see things changing for the better with the announcement of a vaccine coming to fruition.

Adult Swim Pulls Episodes of ‘The Boondocks’ and ‘Aqua Teen Hunger Force’

With a two-season, 24-episode order of The Boondocks in the works from HBO Max, Adult Swim has seemingly pulled several episodes of the popular series “due to cultural sensitivities.”Aqua Teen Hunger Force was also a casualty as well with some of its episodes being pulled also.

Adult Swim confirmed the episodes have been removed after Reddit users noticed some episodes were missing from HBO Max’s lineup. According to The Daily Beast, ATHF episode “Shake Like Me” from season six and “The Story of Jimmy Rebel” from The Boondocks‘ third season was removed. The reason for ATHF episode being removed is the title references John Howard Griffin’s 1661 book Black Like Mee in which Shake learns about stereotypes after being bitten by a black man. The Boondocks episode refers to, of course, Uncle Rukus’ relationship with a racist country singer and his bigoted music.

In a statement made to the Daily Beast, an Adult Swim representative stated:

“When Adult Swim transitions series to a new platform, we determine what episodes are selected through creative and cultural filters and our standards and practices policies. Oftentimes these decisions are made in collaboration with the show’s creators.” As such these episodes are “permanently retired due to cultural sensitivities.”

The brine preserves him perfectly and when he emerges in present-day Brooklyn, he finds that he hasn’t aged a day.
