After the Space Hippie 01, Space Hippie 02, and Space Hippie 03 were announced, Nike’s sought-after Space Hippie Collection will also include some love for the ladies in the Space Hippie 04 silhouette which will be a women’s exclusive.
The Nike Space Hippie 04 is made of what Nike calls “space junk” which is composed of scrap material straight off the factory floors. The upper is made of a knitted material in light grey with the iconic Swoosh logo stitched in orange on the sides. Factory scraps making up the sole round out the details of one of the colorways.
The second colorway features an upper made of a darker tone of grey, swapping out the orange Swoosh on the first colorway, for a brighter yellow Swoosh.
The Nike Space Hippie Collection will release on SNKRS and select Nike retailers on June 11 but this women’s exclusive Space Hippie 04 will release later this summer. Check back for more concrete release dates.
Nike has released a video and message that has displayed across all of its social media platforms. The message is calling for Americans to stand up against social injustices, oppression and systemic racism. In the video, Nike’s iconic “Just Do It” slogan is flipped to “For once, just don’t do it.”
Nike has been on top of any injustices going on for a while now and this video comes after a week of protests throughout America after the tragic death of George Floyd, a man that was murdered by Minneapolis police in Minnesota.
Words from the video are as follows:
“Don’t pretend there’s not a problem in America. Don’t turn your back on racism. Don’t accept innocent lives being taken from us. Don’t make any more excuses. Don’t think this doesn’t affect you. Don’t sit back and be silent. Don’t think you can’t be part of the change. Let’s all be part of the change.”
Nike’s rival competition, adidas echoed the sentiments and showed solidarity by retweeting the message.
Team, As we’ve watched racial tragedies expose prejudice and injustice in our cities over these past few weeks, I can’t stop thinking about the individuals impacted: Ahmaud Arbery. Christian Cooper. Breonna Taylor. George Floyd. The horrible killings and racist actions serve as a sickening reminder of what too many people live through every day in America. It is absolutely wrong what’s happening in our communities, to our friends and family members. These tragedies are not unique to the U.S. Far from it –- we see violent incidents in countries all over the world, fueled by hatred and ignorance.
Let me be as clear as I can: Nike is opposed to bigotry. We are opposed to hatred and inequality in all its forms, indirect and overt. While Nike cannot solve injustice, I believe we have a responsibility to work toward addressing it to the best of our ability.
I know these have been a difficult few months. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought additional fear and tragedy into our lives, with striking disparities in how certain populations have experienced this crisis, particularly in the United States. With its devastating impact on communities of color – including Black, Latinx, Asian and Native American populations – COVID-19 has further exposed deep-seated inequities that are sadly systemic in our society.
It has also served as a reminder of the racism that is still far too prevalent in our culture. Racial bigotry has created enormous pain and tragedy in the Black community. And since the start of the pandemic, we have seen a disturbing increase in racism toward Asian communities worldwide. The fact that these injustices –- and too many others – continue is horrific and unacceptable. I know many teammates in the U.S. and around the world are feeling tired of having to justify their existence and to fight for their dignity and humanity.
I encourage all of us to not be daunted by the enormity of what we face today. The tragedies we face, we face together. We choose to act in a way that is authentic and true to our values. We are compelled by our purpose: Until We All Win. And we will never ever quit until that becomes a reality.

Take a first look at a new colorway of the sacai x Nike Vaporwaffle in a palette of “Sail/Light Bone/Game Royal/Sport Fuchsia.” This color blocking will be the fourth colorway to be revealed for the sought-after silhouette.
Sticking to the aesthetic of sacai creative director and founder Chitose Abe, this silhouette carries along the hybrid design of meshing two Nike running shoes in an almost deconstructed look. Features include double swooshes at the midfoot, two tongue tags along with dual laces of black and cream. The standout aspect, as with the previous sacai x Nike collab, is the overpowering sole that is elevated and layered with a distinctive lip at the heel.
The long-awaited Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 “Cactus Trails” are releasing in a few days and below is a compiled list of where you can purchase them.
This silhouette features an all beige upper with hits of brown on the toe and heel panels. A wave-like pattern is also displayed on the upper with polar fleece on the ankle collar. Small Swooshes are found at the ankle collar as well and Travis Scott’s “Cactus Jack” branding can be seen on the inside and heel tabs with an aged React/Air Max midsole holding everything up.
Release Date is set for May 29 at a price point of $170 USD.

Throughout the years, Nike has been known for its inspirational commercials and campaigns. They have been ahead of the curve when it comes to pushing for more dialogue when it comes to what’s going on, not only in sports, but the current state of the world. The SWOOSH brand has just released a new clip for their “You Can’t Stop Us” campaign, titled “Never Too Far Down.”
The clip above is narrated by LeBron James, who has definitely defied the odds throughout his life and NBA career, as he speaks of many athletes who have come back from adversity. Athletes include Serena Williams, Tiger Woods, Cristiano Ronaldo, Rafael Nadal, and James himself.
After many photos plastered on the internet the past few months, the Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 270 React is now getting closer to a definite release date.
This silhouette stays true to Scott’s aesthetic of incorporating earth and natural tones which have been featured through the Houston rapper’s many collabs with Nike. Features of the Travis Scott 270 React include a light tan upper made of suede along with hits of brown at the toe. The pull tab near the rear is emblazoned with “Cactus Jack” branding as well.
The release date is slated for May 29 at a price of $170 USD.
Even though the “7-Eleven” Dunks have been cancelled, Nike is still moving forward with their collab with Ben & Jerry’s “Chunky Dunky” silhouette.
The “Chunky Dunky” is a more jovial take on the SB Dunk line and each aspect of the shoe is a representation of the famous Chunky Monkey flavor, for example the yellow Swoosh represents the banana ingredient. The color scheme of the shoe is also a visual representation of the carton’s signature design.
Ben & Jerrys will also be giving away one pair of the shoes. Enter here for your chance to win.
As part of the “Metallic Pack,” Nike is gearing up to release the “Metallic Purple” colorway tomorrow.
The green and red colorways of the metallic series have yet to be released, however the wait is over for the purple colorway which features a simplistic color palette of an all white upper, accented by purple on the lace eyelets, heel area and tongue. These will retail for $190 USD and will drop tomorrow May 20. Check out a list of where to buy below.
After originally releasing back in 2005 and 2010, the Air Jordan 13 “Flint” is making a return.
The combination of the signature grey and white palette against the navy panels makes for a perfect fit, visually. As standard on the release in 2005, this pair will also infuse the 3M technology.
With all the set backs with the release of the Air Jordan 13 “Flint,” they will finally drop on May 30 for $190 USD.
