Neymar Jr. Ditches Nike For PUMA

Neymar Jr. has departed from Nike, ending a 15 year relationship with the iconic sports brand. The Brazilian football star now has his sights on Puma and wearing the KING football cleats.

Neymar Jr. took to Twitter, celebrating the move stating:

“I grew up watching videos of great football legends such as Pelé, Cruyff, Matthäus, Eusébio and Maradona. These were the KINGs of the pitch, the KINGs of my sport. I wish to bring back the legacy that those athletes created on the pitch. They each played in PUMA, and each of them created their magic in The KING. Every time I lace my boots, my KING boots, I will do anything to achieve all of my dreams to honor my name and that of all those great ones who wore the KING before me. This will be my PUMA history. The KING is back!”

Neymar Jr.’s collection for PUMA is now available for pre-order at the brand’s website.

The Marathon Continues and PUMA Re-release

Lauren London recently shared a couple photos featuring items that will be included in the collaboration with PUMA. One pic is of some of the late great Nipsey Hussle’s closest friends in YG, J. Stone, and Pacman da Gunman. The other shows London wearing a white shirt with a graphic that reads:

“We (The Marathon Clothing) honor the endurance and unwavering faith of those that never quit. Our products represent their testimony. Life is a marathon.”

According to PUMA, this 2020 release collab with The Marathon Clothing showcases key pieces from the original collection, including tracksuits and t-shirts featuring checkered patterns and aspects of the TMC brand. Look out for sneakers in black and white colorways as well.

This collaboration will drop on February 1 at select retailers and on PUMA’s website online. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Neighborhood “Nip” Foundation.
