Hiroki Tsukuda’s Dystopian Future With ‘THEY LIVE’ NYC Exhibition

This March, Tokyo-based artist Hiroki Tsukuda is bringing a new series of work to NYC’s Petzel Gallery for a solo exhibition entitled ‘They Live.’ Tsukuda’s medium of choice is usually black charcoal and ink, portraying drawings of futuristic cities and environments that could be the backdrop for a ‘Terminator’ film.

Take a closer look at Tsukuda’s Neon Demon (2019) in the pic above. “They Live” will run from March 5 to April 18.
