Disney+ is relaunching the very popular animated series The Proud Family. This new series will be titled The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder. With this relaunch, Disney will also introduce a new character named Maya Leibowitz-Jenkins, voiced by actress and television host Keke Palmer.

The genius of the original Proud Family series was that, under the guise of a family comedy, it provided a brilliant social commentary on our life and times. With this new series, Bruce and Ralph will once again challenge everyone to think differently about the world we share.

Palmer will be joined by returning all-star cast members Kyla Pratt (Penny), Tommy Davidson (Oscar), Paula Jai Parker (Trudy), Joe Marie Payton (Suga Mama), Karen Malina White (Dijonay), Soleil Moon Frey (Zoey), Alisa Reyes (LaCienega), and Cedric the Entertainer as Uncle Bobby.
