GM has sold out of its first year production of the GMC Hummer EV. The automobile giant opened reservations where consumers could buy in with $100 deposit, reminiscent of Tesla’s strategy with their Cybertruck.
The Hummer EV Edition 1 will start at $112,595 USD and will come equipped with an impressive 1,000 hp. A couple standout features that has car enthusiasts talking is the Crab Mode and Extract Mode. Crab Mode consists of a four-wheel steering system which allows both the rear and front wheel to move. Extract Mode will allow the truck’s suspension height to be raised approximately six inches (149 mm) to help negotiate extreme off-road conditions.
