Hiroki Tsukuda’s Dystopian Future With ‘THEY LIVE’ NYC Exhibition

This March, Tokyo-based artist Hiroki Tsukuda is bringing a new series of work to NYC’s Petzel Gallery for a solo exhibition entitled ‘They Live.’ Tsukuda’s medium of choice is usually black charcoal and ink, portraying drawings of futuristic cities and environments that could be the backdrop for a ‘Terminator’ film.

Take a closer look at Tsukuda’s Neon Demon (2019) in the pic above. “They Live” will run from March 5 to April 18.

However, we do get our Walter White fix in the form of a flashback in which we see the two together.

Much like Nike is doing with their latest offering utilizing recycled materials for sustainability, The North Face is following suit. The recycled products used in this capsule come straight from Everest’s base and will incorporate ‘FUTURELIGHT’ which is a waterproof, breathable material.

LeBron James and the Lakers hit up the court last night (2/12/20) in Denver to play the Nuggets in an exciting game that saw the Lakers win 120-116 in overtime.
