40s & SHORTIES 90’s Inspired Spring 2020 Collection

LA based label 40s & Shorties has Just revealed it’s Spring 2020 collection, which puts emphasis on garments inspired by 1990s and 2000s era aesthetics.

Standout pieces from this drop include a cable knit sweater with a pattern that is tie-dye, as well a shirts with dual chest pockets, and ‘40’s & Shorties’ branding. There is also a variety of colorful hoodies, track suits, and button down shirts.

Nike | ‘MADE IN ITALY’ Collection

For Spring/Summer 2020, Nike introduces premium Italian craftsmanship with their latest offering. The sportswear giant heats things up with an assortment of luxurious Italian-made garments, but in their own style.

Selections from this drop include a windbreaker in a bold canary color, a pullover shirt, trousers and shorts with all featuring premium textured fabrics from Italy. Nike keeps it subtle with small ‘SWOOSH’ branding embroidered on each garment.

‘The Batman’ Director Matt Reeves Reveals The New Batsuit

There’s always speculation and rumblings about what the cinematic Batman’s suit will look like and whether or not it will fit well with the actors chin.

Director Matt Reeves has revealed a screen test of the new Batman Robert Pattinson equipped in his suit for the upcoming ‘The Batman’ film.

The suit looks to have armored plating similar to the Arkham video games from Rocksteady studios. Overall, it seems to fit the actor well, but we’ll save judgment until June 25, 2021 when the films is released.

Walter White Lives In This ‘El Camino’ Featurette

AMC has just released a new featurette of Bryan Cranston transforming into his breakout series’ protagonist Walter White, leading to the television premiere of Netflix‘s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. ‘El Camino’ focuses mainly on Aaron Paul‘s Jesse Pinkman as many were wondering what happened to him being that the show was open ended. However, we do get our Walter White fix in the form of a flashback in which we see the two together.

CLOT x Mitchell & Ness | IVERSON & DURANT Collection

CLOT and Mitchell & Ness have banded together for the greater good of basketball by celebrating Allen Iverson of the 76ers and Kevin Durant of the Sonics with a capsule collection.

The capsule collection is comprised of two Hardwood Classics jacquard-knitted wool kits designed by CLOT co-founder Edison Chen. Iverson’s kit features a shooting shirt and beanie, while Durant will get just the beanie. Also included are two Spalding basketballs featuring both CLOT and Mitchell & Ness branding.

By the looks of the pics it seems Fujiwara has replaced the traditional lacing with three Velcro straps. The ‘FRGMT’ branding covers the ‘Nike Air’ on the heel tab also with a sighting of half-perforated midfoot Swooshes. Overall quality looks clean with an all white leather upper

Fatlace x ILLEST x Medicom Toy BE@RBRICK | ‘PINK PIG’

The ‘Pink Pig’ is the brainchild of Medicom Toy’s collaboration with brands ILLEST and Fatlace, drawing inspiration from the Porsche race car that smoked the competition in France at the famous Le Mans race.

The ‘Pink Pig’ shocked and awed the crowd as it entered Le Mans in 1971 not only because of its crazy design, but also because it ran the fastest pre-race qualification session.

The BE@RBRICK will come bundled with both the 400% and 100% sizes as is slated for a February 13 release date. Retail will be at a price of $181 USD online at ILLEST.

Stüssy’s Spring 2020 Collection

A mix of cozy and casual seems to sum up Stussy’s new Spring 2020 capsule. The upcoming collection will include vivid colors, an array of patterns and of course Stussy’s iconic branding for both men and women.

Printed fleeces, boldly dyed pieces, and beach inspired tees are the vibe with this collection. Even though Stussy stayed true to their normal aesthetic, they did venture out to other styles that they aren’t really known for like cargo-pocket hoodies, sherpa pullovers, floral printed pants and work shirts.

Yohji Yamamoto Y’s x New Era SS20 Collection

Yohji Yamamoto‘s collaboration with New Era continues to thrive with this latest drop for Yamamoto’s sub-label, Y’s. Y’s is most known for producing wears for the ladies but this New Era capsule will be unisex, comprising of seasonal essentials in monochrome, perfect for versatility.

This collection will be comprised of a New Era 9Thirty hat, bucket cap, hoodie, T-shirt and light backpack. All of these items will make you feel as if you joined the dark side in Star Wars, but in a good way, with all the items being all black. Dark purple Y’s logos stand out against the all black back drop which are embroidered on each item, along with New Era stamps in the same shade.

Yohji Yamamoto’s web store and Japanese New Era stores will receive Y’s SS20 collaborative release on February 21.

Staples Center To Hold Kobe Bryant Memorial This Month

Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and the seven other victims of a fatal helicopter crashlast week will be honored in a public memorial at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on February 24, as reported on Thursday by the Los Angeles Times.
