Spillage Village Brings A Breath Of Fresh Air With New Album ‘Spilligion’

New Supergroup on the horizon Spillage Village has dropped their new album Spillgion. Consisting of members EARTHGANG, JID, Mereba, 6LACK, Hollywood JB and more.

Spilligion is a 12-track album with a mixture of hip hop and R&B that captures the essence of each member’s personality. The album was also recorded entirely during the ongoing COVID pandemic. Special guests include Chance The Rapper, Ari Lennox, Masego, Buddy and Lucky Daye.

Lil Durk Drops New Song And Music Video “The Voice”

What many thought would be a new album dropping from Lil Durk on September 4, is now a single along with accompanying music video. All in all, the Chicago rapper still doesn’t disappoint with the outcome even dubbing himself the “Chicago Jay-Z.”

Durk pays homage to Chicago, showcasing the Windy City as the backdrop for the visual which features a number of sports cars and a private jet. Checkout the video above and stream and download the track below.  

42 Dugg “Free Merey” | Official Video

On Friday, 42 Dugg released his single “Free Merey” along with the official video. The video is directed by Motion Family as well as his label head, Yo Gotti.

The video shows the obstacles that artists that come from the streets have to face in order to transition to their music careers. In one scene, 42 Dugg is seen with Yo Gotti in a meeting with record label executives vigorously trying to sign him into a deal that he doesn’t agree with and ultimately rejects.

Migos Ft. YoungBoy Never Broke Again “Need It” | Music Video

Hip hop trio Migos have just released the visual to “I Need It,” the popular radio hit off their forthcoming album, slated to release this year.

The Atlanta group recruited Baton Rouge’s own YoungBoy Never Broke Again for the track and music video which pays homage to the film Don’t Be A Menace To South Central While Drinking Your Juice In The Hood. Offset even plays Marlon Wayan’s character “Loc Dog” in the hilarious rocket scene. Check out the video above.

YoungBoy NBA drops off his “Kacey Talk” single and accompanying music video. This single is heavily influenced by guitar melodies and percussions but the most unique aspect of the track is the Baton Rouge rapper’s baby Kacey, who adds additional vocals.

The visual shows YoungBoy in a casino setting and also rapping in front of “corporate execs.” Staying true to the singles’s cover art, kids are shown painting on white walls around the rapper.

Drake just dropped a single and visual for ‘Laugh Now Cry Later featuring Lil Durk.

Even in these tough times, the Toronto artist finds a way to entertain his fans whether it’s with new music, a music video or both. This visual shows Drake referencing several moments in sports from Odell Beckham JR’s one handed grab versus the Dallas Cowboys to NBA Draft Day. Drizzy’s famous friends also make a cameo such as OBJ, Marshawn Lynch and Kevin Durant.

Lil Wayne Channels ‘Pac In “Thug Life” Music Video

Lil Wayne nabs Young Money rappers Gudda Gudda and Jay Jones for the track “Thug Life” along with the accompanying visual.

The video shows Lil Wayne with his Young Money affiliates at his skatepark, which has been the backdrop for quite a few of the New Orleans rapper’s videos. Wayne seems to have found his second wind after dropping his 13th studio album with Funeral. Hopefully there’s more music coming from the hip hop veteran.
