Earlier, in the NBA “bubble,” it was speculated that King James was seen in the Nike LeBron 18. We now have an official look at the design of Lebron’s upcoming sneaker.

LeBron’s signature shoes follow a distinct aesthetic that the 18 will encompasses as well such as the Battleknit from the LeBron 15, the TPU and yarn from the LeBron 17 and the TPU on the heel from the LeBron 16.

LeBron has always loved experimenting with Max Air cushioning. He loves the way it feels. With the 18, we played with different expressions of air in novel ways, with the goal to impart this new look

The Balenciaga Speed Trainer Gets An Upgrade

To say Balenciaga‘s Speed Trainer was a success would definitely be an understatement. The popular silhouette has found a way to penetrate mainstream fashion and is even referenced in Cardi B’s “I Like It.” Now, the fashion house introduces an upgraded version with the Speed 2.0.

Demna Gvasalia designed the Balenciaga Speed 2.0 which doesn’t stray too far away from the aesthetic of the first model. The silhouette still keeps its 3D-knitted sock upper as well as the sole but this time around, comfort and flexibility are at the forefront.

An more defined molded sole enhances the overall unit to provide better agility without sacrificing its strength. The Speed 2.0 also features five segments in the sole which adds more support to each part of the foot as opposed to just one-piece from the previous model.

Colorways for the new Balenciaga Speed 2.0 can be found in triple black, gray, tan and black-and-white. Head over to Balenciaga’s online shop and in select retailers to purchase. Prices range from $825 USD to $895 USD.

**UPDATE 07/14/20**

The Grateful Dead Bears x Nike SB Dunk Low now has a release date of July 24.

The Grateful Dead Bears x Nike SB Dunk Low is the result of a collaborative effort from Nike and it’s homage to Grateful Dead’s 1973 album, History of the Grateful Dead, Volume One (Bear’s Choice). The album was illustrated by Bob Thomas in which he debuted teddy bear characters with color schemes similar to the SB silhouette.

Features of this sneaker include a suede upper with faux fur displayed on the side panels, collar and toe box. Much different from previous Nike SB models is this silhouette has a Swoosh that’s made in a zigzag pattern that’s just like the bear character’s collar. Rounding out the design is a unique stash pocket embedded in the tongue.

No release date is set in stone but check out the pics above in the mean time.

adidas Executive Resigns Amid Allegations Within The Company

adidas executive Karen Parkin will step down following recent protests within the company. Parkin is at the center of the mistreatment employees have been facing at the company’s Portland headquarters.

According to the Wall Street Journal, in 2019 Parkin called the issue of racism “noise” and that adidas had no issues of it. What’s even more ironic is adidas issued a statement on June 9 stating plans to create a more inclusive workforce as well as improved environment involving their hiring practices.

Parkin had this to say:

While we have made progress in many areas, there is much more work to be done. However, it has become clear to me that to unify the organization it would be better for me to retire and pave the way for change. Now is the right time for a new HR leader to take over the function, to seize the opportunity before us and drive forward the pace of change to create a more diverse and inclusive adidas that we can all be proud of.
