Clare Waight Keller Leaves Givenchy

Clare Waight Keller, Artistic Director of Givenchy, has just announced her departure from the fashion house. Keller was the first woman AD at the French luxury brand in which one of the British designer’s notable accomplishments was being able to dress Meghan Markle for her royal wedding in 2018. Her last offering ended with the women’s Fall/Winter 2020 presentation in March.

Keller is the former Chloé creative director and stylist and joined Givenchy in 2017 when creative director Riccardo Tisci (currently at Burberry) left. Keller’s duties included overhauling the label’s fashion output, scents, accessories and footwear. She spent three years making the house’s menswear, womenswear and accessories line what it is today.

I want to warmly thank Clare Waight Keller for her contribution to Givenchy’s latest chapter. Under her creative leadership, and in great collaboration with its ateliers and teams, the Maison reconnected with the founding values of Hubert de Givenchy and his innate sense of elegance. I wish Clare all the best in her future endeavors.

Sidney Toledano, Chairman and CEO of LVMH Fashion Group

No word on Givenchy’s replacement nor Keller’s future plans.

Fear of God x Ermenegildo Zegna Collection

Fear of God’s collaboration with Ermenegildo Zegna has emerged courtesy of images by Tommy Ton. This collection is scheduled to release in September 2020, meshing together two respected fields of fashion in FOG’s boundary-pushing American aesthetics and Zegna’s flair for detail and masterful Italian tailoring. This collection is the result of the duo and how streetwear and sartorial articles of clothing can coexist for the greater good of high fashion.

Jerry Lorenzo’s (Fear of God) style can be seen throughout the collection from his subtle color palette of blacks, greys, taupes and tans. Such hues bring out the fabrics on items like the “one-size-fits-all” coat and several knitted garments.

Check out the Fear of God x Ermenegildo Zegna collection from Tommy Ton’s photos above. The collaborative effort will release in September 2020 at Zegna boutiques and Fear of God retailers worldwide.

The Hundreds x Blue The Great Capsule Collection

The Hundreds teams up with popular artist Blue The Great for a special collaboration on a capsule collection, merging two worlds together.

The Blue The Great x The Hundreds collab has seemingly been in the works for over a year as the artist has been working with The Hundreds design team on incorporating his style and art into pieces that are both stylish and up-to-par with his artistic standards.

Our goal was to bring fans of Blue and The Hundreds right into the studio, ready to create, ready to get messy. Blue’s paint-covered overalls that he wore while making countless pieces of art were cloned and made into an allover print pair of Shorts. We turned his painter’s palette, full of brilliant colors and mixtures and personality, into the most unique ceramic ashtray you’ve ever seen.
