We’re about to be a little over two months in of 2020 and it seems like we’ve experienced the whole year already, especially with the recent tragic news of the death of the legendary Kobe Bryant, his daughter GiGi and the rest of the victims of the horrific helicopter crash.
The NBA is doing it’s job of keeping Kobe’s legacy alive by honoring him in just about all aspects of basketball whether it be in games or events.
In a press conference on Saturday, NBA commissioner Adam Silver announced that the All-Star Game MVP award had been renamed to the “Kobe Bryant MVP Award.”
“He always relished the opportunity to compete with the best of the best and perform at the highest level for millions of fans around the world.”
