Self-lacing sneakers have been sought after ever since that iconic moment when Marty McFly first debuted what is now called the Nike Air Mag sneaker in Back to the Future II. Nike’s Adapt models have definitely shown promise as the line features a self-lacing system. Nike carries on the tradition with the new Nike Adapt Auto Max ‘Infrared.’ which is quite possibly the closest reimagining of the Air Mag we’ve seen thus far.
The Adapt Auto Max features a majority synthetic grey upper with protruding molds throughout, matched with a dark grey Swoosh. The standout piece happens to be the enlarge infrared heel that wraps around to the midsole.
