State-of-the-art innovation meets traditional craftsmanship in the Nike Football Rebento duffle bag. The 3D printed base combines with a premium leather upper in a bold expression of technology and style. Designed for the game’s best players, only three bags have been created and will be carried by Neymar Jr., Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo this summer in Brazil. Each bag features custom gold hardware with the player’s name. The bag references the stud plate of two groundbreaking Nike football boots—the Magista and Mercurial—with a unique graphic on the base of the bag. Taking cues from the Nike Flyknit pattern of the Magista and Mercurial, the laser-sintered nylon creates an intertwined weave on the bag’s 3D printed base. The 3D print also gives the bag body and creates a lightweight, yet durable structure that allows for flex. Handcrafted, premium leather is used on the bag’s upper and straps, which seamlessly fits into the 3D printed base without the use of glue or adhesive.

In an uncharacteristic move by Nike, they have decided to release the sought after Air Yeezy 2 Red Octobers today (02/09). This comes to the surprise of a lot of sneakerheads and people in the know because Nike gave no fair warning of the release. Many have been wondering about the fate of the ‘all red’ sneaker being that Kanye West is no longer affiliated with Nike and has in fact moved on to their competitor, Adidas. Rest assured, if you don’t have your pair by now via Nike.com, then you will probably be paying twice or even 3 times as much for them elswhere.

It’s that time again as Nike Basketball follows up its annual “Christmas” pack with reworked versions of the LeBron 11, Kobe 8 System and KD VI. This year, three wintertime stories are linked by special logo lace locks that connect to create custom signature ornaments.
The LeBron 11 is doused in a chilly mint color set against a Christmas green with bold red accents and a frosty translucent outsole. The unique geometry of a snowflake combines with the royal palm to create a kaleidoscopic “palmsicle” print.
The Kobe 8 System, for its part, metaphorically and quite literally sheds its skin in order to make way for the upcoming Kobe 9 Elite. The shedding skin is shown with aggressive snake scales attached to a translucent mesh shroud. Hits of neon mamba green and chrome gold help bring in the Holiday season.
Kevin Durant, meanwhile, takes the court in Christmas red with accents of gold and mint. With a twist on traditional Christmas prints, the KD VI features a Fair Isle style Christmas sweater pattern that incorporates trees, stripes and his number 35. Christmas plaid adorns the collar lining, with decorative detail worked into the metallic red Flywire upper and a mint green speckled sole.
Look for the Nike Basketball “Christmas” pack to release via Nike’s online shop on December 26.
We now have a few images of Kobe Bryant‘s ninth signature shoe with Nike. What seems to be a first with Nike when it comes to Kobe, is a high-top design composed of the ever popular Flyknit technology that wraps the ankle. The midsole is also made of a carbon fiber material, ditching the low top look that The Black Mamba’s shoes have been known for in the past. Take a look at the images below and let us know your thoughts.

Kanye West has been making headlines not only in music, but in the fashion world as well. The past couple of months the “Yeezus” rapper has expressed his distaste with global apparel and footwear giant Nike and with that, there has been speculation of him partnering up with Adidas.
The speculation is now a fact as Kanye has announced his deal with Nike’s competitor on Hot 97’s Angie Martinez. Here’s what he had to say:
“I asked them when the Yeezy “Red Octobers” are coming out. I asked them, me Kanye West, asked Nike when’s it coming out. They said, ‘we’re not sure yet.’ They let me design two shoes over five years. And I’m happy I could design them, but they didn’t do me no favor because Eminem designed a shoe, Pharrell designed a shoe. I just designed the Yeezys. I turned up, because I was in fourth grade designing Jordans and I brought back that feeling. You ain’t never felt that way about a shoe, since the Jordans, the way people feel about the Yeezys. I put that feeling. The same feeling that I put in College Dropout, Graduation, 808s, I put that feeling in there.”
So, will the “Red Octobers” actually come out? If so, will they still hold as much weight now that it’s designer has moved on to greener pastures? Only time will tell.
