Jamie Foxx Will Play Mike Tyson In Biopic

Seems like Jamie Fox has been teasing a Mike Tyson biopic for years now. Aside from his spot on impression of the former heavyweight champion, it is now confirmed that the film has now been given the green light.

During an Instagram Live interview, Foxx spoke to producer Mark Birnbaum, stating that he has been bulking up for the upcoming role that will chronicle Iron Mike Tyson’s life. Tyson, of course has had his fair share of ups and downs and is definitely worthy of a biopic played by one of the greatest actors of our time.

Cryptic New Teaser Trailer For ‘CANDYMAN’

Candyman Director Nia DaCosta shares a surreal new teaser for the upcoming film that pays homage to the original horror flick. DaCosta also shared the following note:

“CANDYMAN, at the intersection of white violence and black pain, is about unwilling martyrs. The people they were, the symbols we turn them into, the monsters we are told they must have been.”

Get Out Director Jordan Peele takes over producing duties for the film which gives a new take on the urban legend while also staying true to the film’s essence.

Candyman hits theaters on September 25, 2020.

Zack Snyder’s “Justice League” Sneak Peak | HBO Max

Zack Snyder has given us a sneak peak of his upcoming Justice League director’s cut film via Twitter. Snyder was the original director of the film but stepped away due to the tragic death of his daughter. Directorial duties for the rest of the film were finished and altered by Joss Whedon which left fans feeling unfulfilled about the finished product

The sneak peak of the film shows Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman exploring some ruins when the camera pans up to show a mural of supervillain Darkseid. The next transition shows Darkseid in the flesh, leading his army against the heroes of earth.

Zack Snyder’s Justice League will be released in 2021 on HBO Max.

The first trailer for Bill & Ted Face The Music has just dropped after years of speculation on whether or not the third installment would actually happen.

Following 1989’s Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure and 1991’s Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey, the stakes are higher than ever for William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. (Winter) and Theodore “Ted” Logan (Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure, when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it and bring harmony to the universe. Along the way, they will be helped by their families, old friends and a few music legends.

Haunting Trailer For ‘You Should Have Left’

Universal Pictures has just released a first look at the new haunted house thriller from Blumhouse Pictures’ You Should Have Left. This film stars Kevin Bacon and Amanda Seyfried as husband and wife who go on a vacation with their young daughter to a home in the Welsh countryside. Things take a turn for the worse when the house seems to have something sinister inside.

Theo Conroy (Bacon) is a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife, Susanna (Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare when Theo’s grasp on reality begins to unravel and he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more than he or Susanna have revealed, even to each other.

HBO has just released a new trailer for their upcoming horror/ drama series Lovecraft Country.

The series is based on Matt Ruff’s 2016 novel and is being produced by J.J. Abrams and Jordan Peele. The story follows the main character Atticus Freeman, teaming up with his friend Letitia and his Uncle George, as they embark on a road trip across America in the 1950 Jim Crow era. A struggle to survive is at hand as they have to overcome the racism of white America and Lovecraft monsters.

Official Look At The Final Season Of ‘Attack on Titan’

The first trailer for Attack on Titan’s final season has just dropped, featuring new animation from MAPPA. MAPPA will replace WIT Studio for this fourth season and even received the go-ahead from WIT Studio’s director.

The footage below focuses on returning Attack on Titans characters Zeke, Reiner, Eren, Mikasa, and the rest of the Paradis gang as they see what the outside world has to offer beyond the wall.

Attack on Titan The Final Season will arrive this Fall and broadcasts on NHK-G.

Unsettling New Trailer for the Horror Film “ANTEBELLUM”

Lionsgate has just released an exclusive trailer for upcoming horror film Antebellum starring Janelle Monáe.

The trailer shows Veronica Henley (Monáe) living a happy life with her family and then suddenly thrown back into one of the most terrible times in US history. Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz directed the film and tells the story of “successful author Veronica Henley (Monáe), who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.”

Antebellum hits theaters on August 21.
