Watch The Official Trailer For ‘Peninsula’

*UPDATE* 4/02/20

We now have an official trailer for South Korean film Train to Busan. The first installment was well received and was a breath of fresh air with its take on the zombie apocalypse. The horror film received great reviews which resulted in an animated prequel titled Seoul Station. Director Yeon Sang-ho has now shared some new details regarding the sequel Peninsula and it’s plot with a few photos.

Peninsula will take place four years after the events of Train to Busan in the same universe but with a different set of characters.

Government authority has been decimated after the zombie outbreak in Korea, and there is nothing left except the geographical traits of the location – which is why the film is called Peninsula.

The plot of the movie will center around former soldier Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won) who escapes the zombie- occupied Korean Peninsula, which has been ravaged by different nations’ attempting to rectify the infestation. He finds non-infected survivors when reaching the port of Incheon, but subsequently comes under attack.

How To Skate During A Pandemic In ‘Urban Isolation’

With COVID-19 putting everyone’s mental state in the dumps, and the CDC prompting the government to recommend self-isolation and quarantine, the once crowded streets of some of the busiest cities now seem like ghost towns.

As part of their REDirect Project in 2014, The Berrics enlisted Russell Houghten to imagine Los Angeles with no busy traffic or people around in this ‘Urban Isolation’ video entry. There is a shocking and eerie similarity between the video and today’s current climate.

‘A Quiet Place Part II’ Introduces A New Character

The premier of John Krasinski‘s A Quiet Place Part II hits theaters this month and Paramount Pictures has given us a glimpse of a new character from the film named Emmett, played by Cillian Murphy.

Judging by the look of the character, you can tell Emmett has seen some things in his life. His survivor mentality and willingness to live in solitude has gotten him to where he is in the film. In the featurette, Emmett meets Evelyn Abbott (Emily Blunt) and her newborn for the first time, but he refuses to help because more people equals more noise.

The beauty of Cillian’s character was that there’s so much loss in his life. He doesn’t feel the need to be a part of any community. He’s actually a representation of the rest of the world. There’s a darkness to him and there’s a fear level to him that makes him unpredictable.

Ben Affleck Reveals Why He Left Batman Role

In an interview with GQ, actor Ben Affleck revealed that the reason he left his role as Batman in the DCEU was due to his loss of passion for the character.

Affleck states that he didn’t realize how big the role was when he initially accepted it stating, “I don’t think I even realized how iconic the character was until I took the job and that was a big story.” The Town actor also says, “It happened at a time when the Internet was expanding into the movie business in a different kind of a way and the fan sites and the relationship with the fans and the studios and the comic book creators was changing and evolving.”

Continuing: “I had my fill of that. They said, ‘Would you want to direct and star in a solo Batman movie?’ I found that I had lost my enthusiasm or passion for it. This should really be made by somebody for whom it’s their wildest dream come true and, for me, it had become something different and it was clear to me that it was time to move on. But I do have some really fond memories, particularly of Batman v Superman, and how exciting that was. And how energizing it was and how much fun we had.”

‘The Batman’ Director Matt Reeves Reveals The Batmobile Photos

The upcoming ‘Batman’ film seems to be more grounded this go-round as opposed to big cgi focused films of the past. The leaked pictures we have been seeing floating around the ‘net give off a ‘Batman Begins’ vibe, more Christopher Nolan than Tim Burton. It seems as though director Matt Reeves wants to keep the film as minimalistic as possible while staying true to the aesthetic of the Batman comics and it’s easy to tell by the newest image of the Batmobile.

Reeves shared a few pics of how he’s going to portray the legendary car via his twitter account. The car gives off a rugged muscle car type of vibe which is far different from the last time we saw the Batmobile in ‘Justice League’ or even further back in Nolan’s films where the cars were more tank-like. You can also see another shot of the Batsuit as well.

The newest installment opens in theaters on June 25, 2021.

Netflix’s TRANSFORMERS: WAR FOR CYBERTRON TRILOGY Brings The 80’s Nostalgia

Netflix is bringing all the 80’s feels with their new Transformers series titled ‘War For Cybertron.’

It seems like the character designs are a close representation of the characters from the 1980’s cartoon and not the overly detailed designs of a Michael Bay film.

Hasbro, Inc. produced the series in conjunction with Rooster Teeth and will focus on the Autobot and Decepticon war.
