The Air Jordan 4 Draws Inspiration From The Air Max 95 “Neon”

UPDATE 3/21/20 | The Air Jordan 4 ‘Neon’ hits stores today.

Where to Buy (Mens)

The Air Max 95 ‘Neon‘ was definitely the standout shoe in the 90’s. The colorway of the neon green perfectly complemented the different shades of grey that lead into the black midsole. Fast forward 30 years later and we see Nike paying homage to the Air Max 95 ‘Neon’ with the Air Jordan 4 ‘Neon.’

This Jordan 4 mimics the same color scheme seen on the aforementioned Air Max 95 model with features like the split half and half patch seen on the tongue and the neon hue being complimented by the different tones of grey. These sneakers will be priced at $160 for GS sizes and $225 USD adults. This is supposedly a general release so catch them at any retailers that carry Nike or Jordan Brand apparel on March 21.

“Starting today, we are offering our customers from kindergarten to grade 12 institutions worldwide – who currently make Creative Cloud applications available to students – the ability to request a temporary home access for their students and educators.”

Thundercat’s presence is felt on this track as well, offering production and back up vocals. Jon Brion deserves a lot of credit for not only being a collaborator, but for also finishing the album after Mac’s passed.

‘Playboy’ Magazine To End It’s 66 Year Run

Playboy has just announced that it will be ending its magazine publication for the rest of 2020. Most sources have concluded that this temporary shut down will ultimately be a permanent one due to not only the COVID-19 crisis but the print climate as a whole.

What once was a go-to magazine for exclusive material as far as editorials and exposés go, has now become obsolete as much of what the gentlemen’s magazine has been known for can be found free on the internet.

Founded in 1953 by Hugh Hefner, Playboy Magazine trail-blazed the print and press industry while using its influence to branch off into other avenues like clubs and television. The 70’s were the publication’s more defining years as they began selling 5.6 million copies a month and the iconic bunny logo became one of the most popular calling cards of the brand as it was used to license products such clothing, bags, novelty items and more.

Even though it’s print publication has seemingly met its end, Playboy as a brand will continue to thrive with it’s huge online presence and different avenues of licensing.

Sony Unveils New Hardware Specs For The PlayStation 5

Sony has just revealed the new hardware details for the upcoming PlayStation 5. Lead system architect Mark Cerny presented a livestream video that gave more pertinent information of the system’s architecture, including the SSD and load time speed.

The SSD will be able to load 5 GB per second which will eliminate loading screen time for the PS5. With this breakthrough, there won’t be any levels that need to be segmented in order to conceal load times and textures will render a whole lot faster. The SSD will come with a custom flash controller with six levels for developers to code depending on the priority of different in-game moments.

Specs include:

CPU: 8x Zen 2 Cores at 3.5GHz (variable frequency)

GPU: 10.28 TFLOPs, 36 CUs at 2.23GHz (variable frequency)

GPU Architecture: Custom RDNA 2

Memory/Interface: 16GB GDDR6/256-bit

Memory Bandwidth: 448GB/s

Internal Storage: Custom 825GB SSD

IO Throughput: 5.5GB/s (Raw), Typical 8-9GB/s (Compressed)

Expandable Storage: NVMe SSD Slot

External Storage: USB HDD Support

Optical Drive: 4K UHD Blu-ray Drive

The backwards compatibility feature of the PS5 has also been confirmed as it will have PS4 and PS4 Pro legacy modes which means the system can run titles from those previous Playstations normally, while giving you a next-gen experience. 3D audio will also be prevalent as Cerny stated that it was a major focus in developing the PlayStation 5 for developers.

New Travis Scott ‘Fortnite’ Skin Revealed

The rumored image shows a shirtless Travis Scott skin wearing a pair of his Air Jordan 1 ‘Cactus Jack’ sneakers, platinum jewelry and brown pants. There is a stipulation as these may not be the real deal and HypeX says that they’re still asking where the source got the image.

There are also rumors that the leaked skin could all be part of an in-game concert of some sort as Scott, who is a big fan of Fornite, has been known to livestream with Ninja, Drake and JuJu Smith-Schuster in 2018. Check back for more info.
